Wordsmiths is a collective of educators and writers who believe that creative writing can transform how young people think, speak, feel, and engage with the world.
Two years ago, Wordsmiths was born from big dreams, a few failures, and a lot of learning. We started with a vision to bring radical joy and voice into classrooms through creative writing. Our first initiative didn't work out – but the dream stayed.
In 2025, we returned stronger, launching our first ever curriculum project: Untextbooked!! – The Legendary Zine Project.

Our first trial curriculum being piloted in schools across the city. It brings wild, personal, and expressive writing into the classroom.
From writing the secret diary of a fictional mango to rewriting textbooks the 'real AF' way — it's about unlocking each child's unique voice.
